Perfect for swimming, as there are no waves and suitable for young children with its swimming enclosure and at low tide shallow water.
Clontarf Reserve has an undercover, shaded playground, which is suitable for children 0-12 years of age. There is plenty of parking – paid and unpaid (within a short walking distance). Local residents with car stickers have free parking.
Clontarf Reserve has plenty of seating and several tables, BBQs and green open spaces perfect for picnics. There are also water taps, a bubbler and outdoor shower.
The park has a kiosk/cafe which sells great coffee, sandwiches, cakes and some hot food as well as ice-cream and cold drinks. There is also a small restaurant which is available for hire for weddings and functions.
